Creating Your Account

Learn how to create your Kidaro account, confirm consent, add your child, and begin the Parent Interview.

Creating a Kidaro account takes a few minutes. You’ll need your name, an email address you can access, and a password.

This guide covers the Parent or Guardian account setup.

1. Choose How You Want to Sign In

On the Continue to Kidaro page, choose one of the available options:

  • Continue with Google

  • Continue with your email address

Follow the prompts on screen to continue.

2. Create Your Account

Enter your name, email address, and a password.

Use an email address you can access, since Kidaro may use it for account verification, sign-in support, and important account updates.

3. Select Parent or Guardian

Choose Parent or Guardian as your account type.

You’ll also be asked to:

  • Confirm that you are at least 18 and the parent or guardian of a child ages 7 to 10

  • Consent to your child taking part in the Learning Profile process

Once both consent options are confirmed, continue to the next step.

4. Add Your Child

Enter the requested details about your child, including:

  • First name

  • Gender

  • Year of birth

This information helps Kidaro prepare the Parent Interview and Child Interview for your family.

5. Begin the Onboarding Process

You do not need to prepare school records, grades, or other documents before starting.

After adding your child, you’ll begin with the Parent Interview, which takes about 15 minutes. Read What the Parent Interview Looks Like to see what to expect.

Once your portion is complete, your child will continue with the Child Interview, which takes about 25 minutes. Read What the Child’s Interview Looks Like to preview their experience.
