Kidaro helps parents understand how their child learns and what kinds of support may help. It is a non-clinical learning assessment app for children ages 7 to 10.
Kidaro was created with child psychologists and developed in partnership with researchers at SWPS University. Its framework is grounded in research on how children maintain attention, respond to challenges, process information, and stay engaged with learning.
What Does Kidaro Create?
Kidaro creates a Learning Profile, a practical picture of how your child approaches learning, responds when something feels difficult, and benefits from support.
The Learning Profile looks across 12 dimensions covering areas such as:
Readiness and emotional comfort
Interests, motivation, and persistence
Attention and working memory
Reasoning and executive functions
Pacing and learning self-awareness
The dimensions are not grades or fixed descriptions of your child. Together, they show patterns that may affect learning and where small adjustments could help.
How Long Does It Take?
Most families complete the full Kidaro process in approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
The Parent Interview takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
The Child Interview takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
During the Child Interview, your child interacts with an age-appropriate Kidaro guide through simple prompts, short activities, and a few play-based games. These activities help Kidaro understand how your child approaches instructions, responds to challenges, and works through changes in difficulty.
The experience is designed to feel like a guided conversation, not a test.
What Do Parents Receive?
Once both interviews are complete, Kidaro creates a Learning Profile that includes:
A visual map of your child’s learning patterns
Practical strategies to try at home
Guidance for areas where a different approach may help
A teacher-ready snapshot you can share with your child’s school
Kidaro is not a diagnostic tool. It does not diagnose, label, or identify learning conditions. The Learning Profile shows patterns and practical next steps that can help you support your child with more clarity.
